Yogi became a Christian at the young age of 16. As a good student in school, he became a good student of the Bible. With affirmation and encouragement from other Christians, Yogi began pursuing full time ministry. In the early years, he thought he would be a missionary overseas. The Jepson School of Business Administration at Gonzaga University provided a great foundation for international business and preparation for working overseas.
But to be effective in ministry, one needs specific theological training. Yogi and his new wife, Connie, moved to Southern California in the summer of 1999 to attend the Master's Seminary. Here, he earned Master of Divinity and Master of Theology degrees. After seminary, Yogi joined Faith Bible Church (Spokane) as the missions and equipping pastor. Instead of personally going overseas, he was tasked with training and aiding others to go overseas.
Over the years, Yogi's particular interests and expertise at college level instruction have become evident. He now teaches one or two classes a week as adjunct professor at The Moody Bible Institute's Spokane campus. Yogi is also in the middle of writing his PhD dissertation overseen by Stellenbosch University, located in South Africa.
With this diverse educational background, Yogi is comfortable talking with people of many educational and religious backgrounds. His ability to study and learn quickly is a huge asset in sorting through the thousands of properties for sale to help you find the right match.
